For most of us, work means more than a pay cheque. It means purpose, independence, friendships, and a place in the world. Yet for autistic people and those with learning disabilities, that door remains firmly shut – not through lack of ability, but lack of the right support.

Employable exists to change that. With your help, we can open that door for many more people.

If you or your organisation would like to make a more significant commitment, there are three ways to sponsor our work directly.

What your donation funds

While the government’s Access to Work scheme covers some costs once someone is in post, there is almost no public funding for the specialist, personalised work we do to get people there. Your donation fills that gap.

Larger sponsorship opportunities

There are three ways to sponsor our work directly

Sponsor a job - £5,000

Your sponsorship secures a job and provides ongoing support for one individual - covering 'Access to Work' applications, onboarding, and long-term monitoring to give them the best possible chance of lasting success.

Sponsor a Business-within-a-Business (BwaB) - £5,000/year

An innovative model in which Employable acts as a specialist subcontractor within a host business. We manage a commercial Hub, employ candidates directly at the going rate, and typically share each role between two or three people - maximising coaching efficiency while removing all HR burden from the host. Where a host cannot fund the commercial contract, project funding of £5.000 per year covers a Hub operating for six hours a week.

Bridge funding - £1,000-£10,000

Access to Work is currently taking up to 37 weeks to process new applications. A candidate cannot wait that long once they have a job offer - and starting without the right support in place puts the opportunity at serious risk. Bridge funding covers this gap, keeping everything on track while the application is assessed.
